Horse racing is an equestrian performance sport, involving two or more jockeys riding horses over a set distance for competition. It is one of the most ancient of all sports and its basic premise – to identify which of two or more horses is the fastest over a set course or distance – has remained unchanged since the earliest times

  1. Hi Alex! It is so great to see that you are posting so many blogs for the Winter Learning Journey programme. I'm so happy that you have joined us on this journey!

After reading through your post entitled, "Horse racing" I feel as though I know a lot more about the sport. I wonder if you might remember where you found this information? It is really interesting and really important that we remember to give credit to the people who have written it. Did you find the information on Wikipedia or another similar site? If so, all you have to do is write (in brackets) the word 'Source' and the name of the source.

    Example:

    (Source: Wikipedia)

I hope that this helps! If you find other interesting information that you want to post please do! At the end of the post you can then include the source and we will all know where you found the information.

    Thanks, Alex!

Keep up the great work :)

    Cheers, Rachel
