Honorary Kiwi sir lan Mckellen says he was teased by Maggie smith for wearing his pounamu pedant to the oscars.
Appearing to the Graham Norton show on Friday in with pals
Sir Patrick Stewart and Hugh Jackman, he revealed that he wore his green stone gift to Hollywood biggest night back in 2002.

tabloids day

On Tabloids day we did all kinds of sport. It was a nice day to have fun outside. I liked getting points for my team. My favorite sport was throwing the bean bag in the basket cause we got five points for the activities. Also I'm in the color blue then when It was finished we had to count our points that we had, 35 we came second.

Person dies while walking to work through Hagley Park.

A person died in Hagley Park in central Christchurch this morning. Police were called to North Hagley Park, near Christchurch Hospital on Monday. A section of footpath in the park has been cordoned off."It looks like someone has collapsed on the way to work," Detective Senior Sergeant Mark Worner​ said.Police were contacting the person's next of kin.
