No girls allowed

During the ancient Olympic Games, men were allowed to compete in the events but women were not. In fact, women were often forbidden from even watching the games. I reckon that this is an unfair rule as women should've been able to compete even to watch because what's wrong with having ladies watching or competing. Women should have the same rights as men

    Hi Alex! I completely agree with you on this one! I definitely think that both men and women have the right to compete in the Olympic Games. I am so pleased to see that the modern day Olympic committee agrees with us and have allowed women to participate since 1900. I actually learned this fact from Faye. She had posted a blog with the official date in which women were allowed to first join the Olympics. I feel very lucky that you guys are all participating in this programme and teaching me so much.
